ALAWU is helping the libraries and archives located in Western part of Ukraine to restore their book collection and resume important services that were damaged by improper storage and neat.

This support assists the libraries and archives in renewing their local history collection, add to their book collection, and purchase new readers for use by area residents of all ages.

The conservation and preservation of cultural heritage is an interdisciplinary field requiring close cooperation between conservator-restorers, archaeologists, (art) historians, collection managers and museum curators on the one hand, and conservation scientists on the other.

The Digitization division produces accurate, archival-quality digital renditions of source documents, including bound or loose items, ranging in sizes from very small to large format materials. Because of our rich history of conservation and preservation experience, our diverse client base can be assured that content will be digitized with utmost care, so valuable assets are returned in the same condition as when they arrived.
